New business sales executive job opportunity Bournemouth

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, motivated and creative new business sales executive to join our online sales and marketing team. If you are looking to develop your career in sales and are confident selling creative concepts and services, this could be a fantastic role for you.

The role

In this role you will be a key member of our team, responsible for helping us to win great clients. This role will cover the whole sales process from initial contact with potential clients, to presenting pitches, winning the clients and maintaining client relationships. We are currently a small team and this will be the only dedicated sales role in the company. You will be supported throughout the sales process by the MD.

Day to day activities will include:

  • Developing target lists of potential clients
  • Contacting potential clients, to arrange face to face meetings
  • Attending face to face meetings
  • Presenting to potential clients
  • Negotiating services and winning client work
  • Staying in touch with existing clients
  • Reporting on sales activity
  • Maintaining sales contacts in our CRM system
  • Attending networking events
  • Contributing to the business development strategy

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will be committed to developing a career in sales. You will already have sales experience, ideally selling to senior management and company director level. Experience selling in a media or advertising environment will be beneficial but not essential. You will need to be a quick learner, as there is quite a bit of jargon to get your head around. We are a small but ambitious company, so it is important that you enjoy working as part of a team. However, whilst you will have the full support of the team, you will also be the only dedicated sales person, so self motivation is essential.

As well as excellent sales skills you’ll need to be comfortable with all things online.

We want to ensure we give our team the support to be the best in the business, helping us fulfil our ambition of being at the forefront of the online marketing industry.

We are offering a basic salary between £20k and £25k dependent on experience plus commission with OTE of £35k to £40k.
